A family tradition in building

Forma is owned and managed by Keith Stoner, who began his career working for his father’s company, J. Stoner and Sons, near Reigate, Surrey. Building has long been in the family, the Stoners can trace their roots back over 400 years, with each generation working as either gardeners or builders. In fact, Henry Stoner, a Sussex builder, married Phoebe in Cowfold Church in 1605, proof that construction really is in our blood.

Experience and expertise

After nine years of service as a Police Officer, Keith returned to the construction industry in 2001. Since then, he has built a strong reputation and client network including land agents, The National Trust, Surrey Wildlife Trust, local authorities, and Rydon Homes. His varied career has seen him work as Project Manager for a renovation company, Area Manager for a steel frame supplier, and Contracts Manager for a large groundwork contractor.

The formation of Forma

With this breadth of knowledge, Keith founded Forma to deliver high-quality agricultural and commercial building services. From maintenance and repair to full design-and-build projects, Forma provides a professional, reliable, and cost-effective service for individuals, companies, landowners, landlords, and land agents.

• Professional compliance: Full risk assessments and method statements where required.
• 3D CAD design: At no additional cost, we provide detailed CAD drawings so you can visualise your building, including cladding, doors, and concrete panels. Every project includes a site visit, ensuring a tailored, bespoke solution.
