Forma is owned and managed by Keith Stoner who started his career working for his father’s building company J. Stoner and Sons based near Reigate, Surrey.

Predominantly a residential building company when Keith joined, the company became committed to a major contract with a large country estate near Horsham in West Sussex. Wide ranging new projects included a new dairy farm, livestock buildings, extensions to existing farms and a major renovation project on the main Manor House.

Building was in the blood!

The Stoner family have traced their ancestors back 400 years with the man of the house being either a gardener or a builder. Henry Stoner married Phoebe in Cowfold Church, West Sussex in 1605. Henry was a builder living in Sussex so we haven’t gone far in the last 400 years!

Experience and depth of knowledge

Keith spent nine years as a Police Officer before returning to the building industry in 2001 establishing a network of clients over the years including land agents, The National Trust, Surrey Wildlife Trust, Local Authorities and Rydon Homes to name just a few. Keith’s career encompassed various roles including Project Manager for a renovation company, Area Manager for a steel frame supplier and Contracts Manager for a large groundwork contractor.

Forma was created to offer a range of agricultural and commercial building services. The company can carry out maintenance work for individuals, companies, landowners, landlords and via land agents.

We are able to create risk assessments and method statements if required and aim to offer a competitive and professional service from start to finish.

Together with our reactive building repair service we have the experience, skills and knowledge to offer a steel framed building service. Our frames are British designed and built. This can be supply only or supply and erect including all the groundwork, drainage and access requirements.

3D CAD drawings

Our professional service can offer, at no additional charge, a 3D drawing showing how a proposed steel framed building will look, detailing cladding materials, doors, concrete panels etc. Together with always offering a site visit we feel this offers a tailor made, bespoke service to our clients.
